Cnoc na Gaoithe are delighted to present Cormac Begley on concertina and Rushad Eggleston on cello.

Rushad Eggleston

Rushad is an innovative musician who has changed the way the cello is played.

He made his large-scale recording debut with his self-titled Compass Records release with Fiddlers 4,
which was nominated for a 2002 Grammy, as well as with Darol Anger’s Republic of Strings, bringing him to national prominence.

Cormac is a bass, baritone, treble and piccolo concertina player from a West-Kerry musical family.

In 2014 he received the Seán Ó Riada award for concertina playing and his playing has been described as “a masterclass in timeless musicianship”.
